Humans seem to really like flags. There are flags for countries, organizations, sports teams, schools, ideologies, and who knows what else. As you might guess, some flags look better than others and there are some general rules for designing flags which help to make a flag more attractive, but we won't get into that. Rather we will say a few words about the long word in the title of this song: Vexillological. Basically, vexillology is "the study of flags." Or as stated on WikiPedia: "A person who studies flags is a vexillologist, one who designs flags is a vexillographer, and the art of designing flags is called vexillography. One who is a hobbyist or general admirer of flags is a vexillophile." So, maybe with all that in mind, you should now consider designing your own flag and maybe even starting your on sovereign nation!
